Method

Nothing gets automated before it has been watched.

Operating rule

The workflow decides the technology. The engagement starts with how work actually moves through the company, then builds only what the evidence supports.

01

Observe

Watch the work as it happens now. Establish the baseline before changing it.

  • SeeCurrent AI use and account patterns
  • MapRepeated work, sources, bottlenecks
  • LocateInstitutional knowledge held by people
  • ExposeSecurity and confidentiality concerns
02

Structure

Decide what the system may use, where approved information lives, and which work deserves a repeatable path.

  • DefineAI governance and acceptable use
  • ClassifyInformation and source authority
  • AssignPriority workflows and named owners
  • StandardizeBrand and technical language
03

Deploy

Use real work already due. The people who will own the workflow use it, break it, and help refine it.

  • ConfigureWorkspace and project environment
  • RunProduction-use workflows
  • TrainEmployees by role and task
  • ReviewHuman checkpoints where they matter
04

Measure

Compare selected work before and after. If the result does not justify expansion, the recommendation should say so.

  • CompareTime and effort before / after
  • AssessOutput consistency and quality
  • MeasureInformation accessibility
  • DecideContinue / revise / stop
M02Ground rulesNon-negotiable
01The work before the tool.

Platform decisions come after workflow and information requirements.

02Manual before automated.

If a workflow produces bad output by hand, automating it produces bad output faster.

03Named ownership.

Every workflow has someone accountable for keeping it current.

04Human review where it matters.

Client-facing and consequential output has accountable review.

05Measure or stop.

More AI use is not the objective. Useful, repeatable work is.
